He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not... Redeux... :)

Hello Doo Crew and happy hump day to ya'll... Adina checking in here and still recovering from the fun of last week's crop... It was a great time and it's hard to come off the adrenaline rush! :)

Thank you to the twelve ladies who joined me for the "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" flower making class that was held Friday at the Crowne Plaza. The feedback was so positive, and the wait list so long, that we are DEFINITELY going to hold a "redeux" of sorts.

So if you missed out on the 12X12 layout class featuring five different flower making techinques, please do call Scrap-A-Doodle Doo today to reserve your spot for Tuesday, February 7th's 7:00 PM class. All you need is your favorite liquid adhesive (I love fabritac), your regular adhesive, a good pair of scissors, and Tim Holtz Distress ink (optional). If you have a petal roller we'll play with that too, but if you DON'T have one in your stash, one will be supplied for class purposes.

*** This mini album kit was such a hit at the CKC Valley Forge Event, we decided to "kick it up a notch" and add some distressed chipboard elements, and a TIM HOLTZ "Tattered Florals" vintage flower too ~ and offer it as a CLASS at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo! ***

The middle of each month signals the release of Scrap-a-Doodle Doo's KIT OF THE MONTH that I am happy to say I have designed for the month of August!!!

This month features papers and embellishments from Simple Stories' Life Documented Collection. (LUV the COLORS and patterns in this collection!!) The kit consists of all of the materials to complete four pages (two 2-page layouts), as well as color pictures and directions.

This unique attractive home decor item will make a great gift or will look beautiful displayed in your own home. This class will feature some fabulous techniques using distress embossing powders, crackle paint and vintage paper. This is Anna. I am a Ranger Certified Instructor and one of the "Doo"'s Instructors.

Below you will see a "SNEAK PEEK" of an upcoming class at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.

This class is a 12 x 12 page and we will be inking, sanding, distressing, embossing, spraying, cutting, and much much more. We will be using products by: Tim Holtz, Ranger, Prima, Tattered Angels, 7 Gypsies, Graphic 45, K & Company and I am sure I am forgetting someone.

The main item we will be using is the HOT OFF THE PRESS... "DISTRESS STAINS"

This page features 6 ATC size cards. This is a great way to incorporate those fabulous little guys into your layouts. We left 3 blank for photo's of your choice.

If you joined me in the past at my 12 x 12 Frame Class, you will definitely want to do this one. This layout will look just absolutely beautiful in one of those frames. And will match your other one just perfect. If this is your first time at a Ranger/Tim Holtz Class then this is the one just for you as you will learn many many many techniques. Hi Friends, Lookie-Lookie whats at the store. :0) In celebration of vacations, going to the beach/shore/pool, or even just enjoying the sunshine we have the best product around....

In picture #1 you see Little Yellow Bicycle "Boardwalk" line. These are absolutely fabulous. I really love the "SUN" die cut.

You will complete a 2 page layout while learning techniques such as 3D paper popping, triple matting, Distress Ink edge distressing and customizing flowers to match your layout.

Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo is a boutique scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting store located in Ramsey, New Jersey and owned and operated by husband and wife team, Stephanie and Mark Mandato. We opened our business in 2005 with an online storefront and made the leap to a bricks and mortar location in May of 2008 following the prompting of our customer-base in the tri-state area.

Stephanie and her mother, Norma (a.k.a. Mama Doodle) had joined forces and were working together in the recruitment/staffing arena and needed a creative outlet. Using our business skills, coupled with Mark’s retail background in merchandising, sales and logistics has helped to propel us through this difficult economy.

We are fortunate to have a talented staff, as well as teachers and loyal customers who share their knowledge of the crafting world and enhance everyone’s experience at Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo. They help us to provide an atmosphere that inspires creativity, provides access to the latest and greatest product offerings and builds lasting friendships. The sign in our Crop Room appropriately reads: “Enter as strangers, leave as friends”.

In addition to our online presence and retail location, we feel fortunate to have been invited to serve as one of the Preferred Vendors for Scrapper’s Dream Vacations (SDV) and have doing so for the past few years up and down the Eastern Coast. Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo also hosts all-day events and weekend themed retreats. As in our recruitment business, we strive to achieve a synergy between our attendees to ensure that a good time is had by all!

We are grateful for the love and support of our family without whom this business would not be possible.
